STC 2009 Election: Voting Starts Tuesday 10 March
We’ve re-published statements of intent received from several candidates for the Society’s top elected positions here on the STC France website in our Community section. This should not be viewed as an endorsement of any particular candidate, but more of an endorsement of these members’ commitment to the Society and to the future of our profession.
STC is your association and the annual election process is important to both the day-to-day running of the Society, and to STC’s future. Candidates for election are committed to the continuing success of the Society and your support and participation in selecting tomorrow’s STC leaders is vital. Thank you for doing your part to make STC a vibrant, growing organization.
Voting begins on 10 March 2009 and runs until 9 April 2009. Voting instructions and ballots will be sent to STC members shortly.

My hope is that upon reading these candidate statements, you too will be inspired to get more involved in STC. Volunteering your time for Society projects is a great way to gain leadership and project management experience and looks great on your CV.
A great way to start is to get involved at the local level. The STC France Chapter leadership team is always looking for willing volunteers to help organize chapter events and programs. We’re also looking for candidates for election to the Chapter Board, so please get in touch if you’re interested in getting involved!
