At the Content Strategy Forum 2010 conference in Paris next April we will be raffling off copies of several recent and forthcoming books on content strategy and relevant topics. In anticipation of the event and to show our appreciation to the publishers and authors who have kindly donated their works, members of the conference committee will be publishing reviews of all titles in the weeks and months leading up to the event.

At the intersection of user experience design, content management, business analysis and technical communication, content strategy is an emerging discipline that has grown rapidly in popularity over the last year. Content Strategy Forum 2010 will be the first ever conference dedicated entirely to content strategy and many of the field’s leading practitioners will be converging on Paris next Spring for this landmark event.

The books featured in our raffle constitute essential reading for anyone who develops, manages or delivers content—whether print or digital—as well as those who work with or manage content development professionals within their own organization or as part of their client projects. To whet your appetite, and as a service to the publishers and authors who have graciously donated several copies of their works, we will be publishing reviews of all the featured titles over the coming weeks and months here on the STC France website.

We currently have the following books lined up for review. Additional titles will be added should they be arranged:

As a conference attendee, you will automatically receive a free raffle ticket in your conference pack. Proceeds from the raffle will go towards our student scholarship program.

The raffle and reviews would not be possible without the generous support of title publishers, who are:

We hope you find the reviews helpful and encourage you to pick up these books even if you don’t win one at the conference. As added bonus, discount codes from participating publishers will be given to all attendees and can be used towards the purchase of relevant titles. Look for the first review in the coming days and plan on joining us in Paris next April for Content Strategy Forum 2010. If you want to be a part of history in the making and walk away enlightened for it, you don’t want to miss this event!
