Dutch STIC Annual Summer Conference - Utrecht, 13 June 2008

13 Jun 2008 - 09:45
13 Jun 2008 - 16:15
The Dutch technical communication society, STIC, is holding its Annual Summer Conference in Utrecht on Friday 13 June 2008.

This year's theme is: Learning from others designing information for users

During the conference we look beyond the boundaries of our profession. Presentations will be given by speakers from varied disciplines such as instruction technology, training, meteorology, engineering and cartography; who will tell us how they go about designing information that people can optimally use. The final session consists of a panel discussion, with all seven presenters answering questions from the audience.

We start at 09:45 hours and end at around 16:15 , after which there is ample time for drinks and informal discussion.

Members of our sister organizations (including STC) pay only the member's attendance fee of €37,50 for the full day: this includes lunch and drinks!

Registration is possible until June 9th. For more information on the programme and how to register, see http://www.stic.nl/.

Please note that the working language is Dutch.

We hope to welcome many of you on June 13th in Utrecht !
